Grill hut "Rompa Bar"

Our beautiful grill cabin features a large deck right outside and provides a wonderful setting for a pleasant evening. The grill cabin “Rompa Bar” is the perfect place to gather your group, for a Christmas party, or as part of your holiday. We can customize the menu to your preferences.


Use of the grill cabin + outdoor area costs NOK 2500 per day. If food service is desired, this will be an additional charge.

The lavvu

Our new lavvu has 9 sleeping places or seating for 22 children or 16-18 adults. Here, you can gather around the campfire for exciting stories, share good moments, or simply relax in pleasant company.

The greenhouse

In the summer, our garden is full of lush plants and edible crops, which we naturally use in our cooking at Kjerringrokk. For many of us, there is something relaxing and inspiring about plants and gardening, and as a guest, you are of course welcome to come in and enjoy it.

Geirs duodji-room

Duodji is traditional Sámi craftsmanship, and in the garden, Geir has his own duodji workshop. Here, various types of belts are made, both with and without patterns, as well as coasters, leather handles, earrings, and much more. You will have the opportunity to experience the craftsmanship and to purchase a souvenir or two to take home—if you wish, with your own personal inscription.

Kjerringrokk has large, scenic outdoor areas - and as a guest you will always find a private nook where you can sit back with a good book and relax completely.
